MBEF: MUSIC AN INSTRUMENT FOR LEARNING.

Studies by the U.S. Department of Education show that music in schools helps children learn math, as well as improve cognitive development. Over time, kids with music programs in their schools demonstrate higher math and science proficiency by a significant margin. The strong foundation in music developed in elementary grades has led to our Grammy winning program at Mira Costa. Investing in our Annual Appeal ensures that your child will have music in grades 1-12.

Again, this make-up is just for those 1st and 2nd graders who were not able to purchase their goodies on 10/12 due to the very long line. Thank you!
